Runs small - I love these shoes and Dansko in general, but
wanted to mention that this style seems to run small. I wear
either 7 1/2 - 8 (each about half the time), but had to return
the 38s for a pair of 39s, which is a US size 9, which I've
never worn before.
I love Danskos but was disappointed with the quality of this
shoe. The plastic piece in the heel of the shoe was not smooth
and I couldn't keep it because of how much it hurt when it
rubbed on my foot! Also, the inside of the buckle part of the
strap was very uncomfortable and rubbed. Maybe it was just a
bad pair because Danskos are usually high quality. I might
even order again just to make sure because I think they are
really cute! Good shoes - I have the Courtney Mary Jane type
shoes from Dansko and love them. I have neuroma which is a
condition that effects the balls and toes of my feet - ouch!!
The Courtney's, which I have repeatedly purchased, are the
only shoes I can wear for over 3 hours that don't hurt my poor
feet. Sooo, being rather tired of the same look, I decided to
give Marcelle a try. They are very comfortable, but the sole
is just a little bit too hard for all day wear with comfort
for me.
Soooo comfy - I love this shoe- it is so darling, I get
compliments everywhere. It even makes my big wide feet look
smaller. The knock-offs don't come close to Dansko's style and
quality. I did have to order a full size larger than I
normally wear - I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10, and these were
11's, (but in Euro sizing.) So thanks to all those other
reviews for warning me. I don't know if all Dansko's run small
but these really did. I feel like I have had these shoes for
years, they are so comfortable. I love them, and I love
Zappos!!! |
