I just ordered my second pair of Dansko Marcelle shoes. They
are very comfortable and greatly reduce foot and leg stress if
you do a lot of walking or standing at work. They are also
slip-resistant. With the European sizing I had to order one
size up. I usually wear a women’s 10 and had to order a 41
which is equivalent to a US women's 11. Perfect - I searched
long and hard for this type of look and shoe. I realized
finally I can only wear Dansko, Birkenstock etc -- no high
heels for me. I had to send this back for a 39 (size 9) and
I'm a 7.5 so that's a bummer. But its soo cute and I can't
wait for the 39. Very vintage look, nice heel. The heel slips
so you must tighten the strap. It’ll take getting used to
compared to the Professional but it's worth it.
the Cordovan Cabrio is LOVELY - I really love this color in
the Marcelles. This is my 10th pair of Danskos and 3rd pair of
Marcelles. This color is so rich and goes with just about
everything in my wardrobe - many of the online stores don't
stock this color so if you want it, be sure to get it soon.
Either it's a new color or a limited edition. Zappos was the
only place I found it--in stock, in my size.
