My most favorite shoe I've ever owned! A friend of mine bought
a pair of Danskos and my interest was sparked. I ordered 3
pairs and immediately feel in love with the Marcelle in
Cordovan Cabrio. The color is amazing and it goes with
everything! It took me a few days to get used to the fit of
the shoes (the roomy heel with slip), but now I am not sure I
want to wear anything else. I normally wear a 9-9.5, so I
ordered a 40 and they fit perfectly. Thank you Dansko and
Zappos for the awesome shoes! Dansko Marcelle - Very
Comfortable. At first try on I thought the right shoe was too
tight along the top of my foot. I used a thinner sock and wore
them around the house for a few hours and all was fine- I
bought these because I started a new job-- I stand for 7 hours
a day. Not used to that as I am usually moving around and my
feet always hurt when I stand too long. These shoes make my
feet feel great even after a long 7 hr day of standing. I am
now wearing them when I am not at work. I will be buying
another pair. Maybe in the Red! Zappos is great!
Marcelle - Really wanted to like this shoe. I liked its looks.
However, it just doesn't fit well. It is very wide (good if
you have a very wide foot) and especially wide in the toes. I
normally wear a Dansko 42, but this one is large (I tried the
41 but it was not long enough). Even with the strap in the
tightest hole, I can barely keep it on my foot. Sorry.
